Thursday notes: Hornqvist’s hobbled hand

The Stanley Cup playoffs are finally ready to move into the second round, after Montreal pulled off a stunner in Washington last night, knocking off the Presidents Trophy-winning Capitals.

There’s a lot more going on around the league, however. After the jump, we hear about what the Predators are planning to do this summer, what kept Patric Hornqvist idle during most of the Blackhawks series, and enjoy a look back at perhaps the greatest upset in playoff history…
