To the surprise of absolutely no one, Dante Fabbro has been suspended for two games for elbowing Carolina forward Brock McGinn.

So the already-thin Predators defensive corps grows even thinner for the next two contests. My solution? Now stay with me here… Third-pairing defender Calle Järnkrok.

Panarin took an indefinite leave on Feb. 22 after his former Kontinental Hockey League coach, Andrei Nazarov, told a Russian newspaper that Panarin got into a physical altercation with a woman in Latvia 10 years ago.

I’m not going to comment more on this story, because it’s murky as hell and I quite frankly don’t know what to make of it.
