Tommy Novak Signs a New Deal in Nashville

Tommy Novak has reportedly signed a new deal with the Nashville Predators.

On Monday afternoon, the underrated forward inked a new deal with the Preds. The deal is for 3 years at $3.5M annually. Many NHL experts (and critics) agree that this deal is excellent for both Novak and the Predators.

There’s been a lot of recent speculation about Novak’s new deal. He was a target in some Trade Deadline rumors, but it’s good to see him locked up in gold for another three years.

Novak has 34 points (13 goals, 21 assists) in 51 games this season. Novak was drafted in 2015 and spent a good amount of time with Nashville’s AHL club in Milwaukee before breaking into the NHL in 2022. Novak also spent 4 years at the University of Minnesota. His new deal begins next season.
