Some of the proposed ideas at today’s NHL meetings:

  • taking away both faceoff dots in the offensive zone and having just one right in the middle
  • instead of a center circle, a center rectangle
  • changing the points system back to the way it was
  • making it illegal to leave your feet while blocking a shot/

That last one begs the question: what about shot attempts? Could Viktor Arvidsson still leap into the air like he does?
