How Many Games Should a Goalie Play?
How many games should an NHL goalie play in a season? The answer is… well, there is no right answer. My interest in this topic was piqued around the Devon Levi conversation among Sabres fans.

Canucks’ Hoglander ejected from game vs. Sharks for intent to injure
Vancouver Canucks forward Nils Hoglander was assessed a match penalty and ejected from the game against the San Jose Sharks for intent to injure forward Kevin Labanc.
“Intent to injure” feels like a tricky thing to put that substantial a consequence on, since it’s presumably very rare that a player ever actually admits they had intent to injure–it feels like it would be more fair for match penalties to be assessed for conduct where the risk of injury outweighs the benefit of the play, or something.
