Despite spending every Friday on the ice with a group of friends and former NHL players in the Boston area, former Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron, 38, told the Canadian Press this week, “I’m not making a comeback, not trying to make a comeback.”
It’s nice that Bergeron retired while he’s still able to play hockey for fun, and find enjoyment in it, instead of going until his body gave out.
