Wednesday’s Dump & Chase: Going Back To Cali

The Predators‘ last meeting in California was a dumpster fire, to put it bluntly. While we don’t need to revisit old wounds, the team’s West Coast swing has me feeling nostalgic for the playoffs. Between sleep deprivation and some of the most emotional moments in franchise history, California will always have a tiny little piece of Nashville’s hockey heart.

Anaheim is up first tonight. Get your coffee and your work excuses ready, it’s going to be a late one.

How Jaromir Jagr Continues to Defy Age and Chase NHL Records – Rolling Stone
Someone at Rolling Stone must really enjoy hockey. In the last few months they’ve covered P.K. Subban, my personal favorite hockey lifestyle brand Violent Gentleman, and now Jaromir Jagr. As a kid who grew up with Rolling Stone covers on my walls, seeing worlds collide is pretty cool.

San Jose Sharks face Anaheim Ducks in return home | FOX Sports
The Ducks have had a rocky start and San Jose is coming off of a long road trip. Hopefully they’ll fully exhaust each other and the Predators can wreck havoc on the Pacific Coast over the next few days.
