The NHL takes a couple days off for the holiday, but I wanted to make sure to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas. Yes, watching the Preds stumble along this season has been frustrating at times, but we’re in this together, a motley collection of fans who love the game and all want to see this team push to new levels of success (although we may disagree on how to get there).
Thank you to the die-hard “stay the course” traditionalists, the “Fire ‘Em All” revolutionaries, the curious newbies, and the lunatics with the seemingly endless supply of animated GIFs which make the Game Threads a rollicking good time no matter what the scoreboard says. This site is a labor of love for all parties involved, both the writers and the readers, so here’s to hoping that Santa leaves a couple top-line forwards and a veteran shutdown defenseman under the tree for Christmas morning and things start heading up from here.
