Mike Fisher Injury: Leaves Kings Game After Collision With Dustin Brown
Mike Fisher missed a week of action last month with what his wife Carrie Underwood termed a "foot fracture thing", and hopefully he didn't re-aggravate it tonight against the Los Angeles Kings. While coming back into the Nashville zone early in the second period his skates collided with Kings captain Dustin Brown, sending Fisher to the ice awkwardly.
He got up slowly and skated to the bench, immediately heading to the dressing room and leaving the game, and Pete Weber just announced on the broadcast that he won't return to action tonight.
During the first period, he provided the secondary assist on Shea Weber's power play goal.
The Predators certainly wouldn't want to see him miss any more time due to an injury, but I guess there is something else he can do if he can't play in Wednesday's game at Colorado:
@Forechecker will he be avail for purse holding duty at CMAs on Wed?
