Someone—I think someone at hockey-graphs.com?—wrote something a few years ago about how a rule like that would affect the NHL, but I haven’t been able to find the article again this weekend. I do remember the author concluded that Shea Weber would have had a massive spike in points production over the period they were evaluating for comparison, which, yeah.
