Quick Notes:

How to Log In

If you have an existing account with On the Forecheck, please try using your current email address to log in.

Click the Login button located in the upper right corner. On smaller screen devices, you can find it in the mobile menu.

Choose the “Login With Email Link” option or click “Forgot Password” if you’d like. This is a matter of personal preference. If you prefer to check your email every time you log in, you don’t need to set a password.

For those who were previous paid members, your membership has been successfully transferred.

How to Sign Up

Sign Up By clicking the link in the top right corner or the signup link near the comments section, users can easily create their accounts by providing their email addresses and choosing their desired display names (the usernames that appear in the comments section).

Upon completing the registration, users will receive a confirmation email that guides them through the process of setting up their passwords. This will make logging back into your account a smoother experience compared to our previous platform, where access to your email was necessary to log in.

Once successfully logged in, users can navigate to the “My Account” page to personalize their usernames and display avatars. This will hopefully enhance their engagement within the On the Forecheck community.

The new comment system, available exclusively to registered users, reintroduces the beloved “Z KEY” functionality. This feature allows users to effortlessly navigate between new comments with a simple keyboard press.

These enhancements aim to provide users with a smoother and more interactive experience. On the technical side, they should also aid the staff in controlling spam content (a process that was manual in the 2.0 version) and in moderating more efficiently (which wasn’t an issue for most of the year).

As always, we greatly appreciate your feedback. If you have any comments or suggestions, please make a ticket here.
