Tuesday’s Dump & Chase: Being Yourself

….for several reasons. Now you have a bigger-than-life personality to take the pressure off of players like Filip Forsberg, Ryan Johansen, Mattias Ekholm, and others who are stepping into the spotlight more. Shea Weber was a lot of things, and most of them were very good (or at least… above average) but he hasn’t been the “put the team on my back” guy since 2011. Now, no one should immediately suggest Subban has to do that. There are plenty of fine and able bodies to pull the rope, but now there’s someone in the room who will answer the questions first.

To be honest, not a lot happened in hockey yesterday. The biggest news happened right here. So let’s dive in.
