Predators haunted by poor late-game management
We knew going into this season that counter attacks and breakaways would be a problem for this team. This is what happens when you employ an attack-first, high-pressing defense to go with a forechecking forward group that burrows itself on the boards. You are going to give up odd-man rushes, some of which you will recover from and some of which you won’t. The Preds just happened to have not recovered on two such rushes in the dying seconds of back-to-back games.
As a Preds fan, this is just something that you will have to live with for this 2016-17 team.
