Hi, Preds fans. I created a quick list with some thoughts on why we should be getting hype about the 2023-2024 season. This is part of some of our preseason content, and I hope you find some things on the list to get excited about. These things will most definitely, very likely, hopefully happen this season:
- Juuse Saros’s first Vezina Trophy–see Bryan’s article on the Preds’ goaltending for this season. “Little Bear” AKA “Juice” is going to win his first this season. He should be nominated, at the very least.
- Ryan O’Reilly wears an A, loves wearing gold, and his efforts get the Predators back into the playoffs.
- Tommy Novak stuns all of us with his controlled, measured play and 30+ goals .
- The Predators squeak into the playoffs once again.
- Luke Schenn and Gus Nyquist overperform and play like Barry Trotz envisions them to play.
- The Predators get a fantastic rookie season out of Luke Evangelista and Juuso Pärssinen.
- Joakim Kemell is a surprise opening-night roster addition.
- Phil Tomasino proves all of Preds Social Media wrong.
- Andrew Brunette coaches the Central Division in the All-Star Game.
- The Predators take advantage of the wide-open Central and make some noise in the playoffs.
