USA Hockey Brings Blind Hockey Development Camp to Nashville
Men and women from across the country with varying visual impairments gathered at Ford Ice Center Antioch last week for USA Hockey’s Blind Hockey Development Camp.

Learning about blind hockey–the puck has ball bearings inside so it makes noise!–is really fun and interesting. I love that the Preds continue to expand the number and variety of non-NHL organizations they make their ice available to.

The thought of Patrice Bergeron being followed as captain by Brad Marchand is breaking my brain a little. I know Marchand’s done a lot of good work off the ice, and has been for a long time, but also, it’s only been a few years since the NHL had to ask him to stop licking opponents.

Five charges against NHLer Alex Galchenyuk were dismissed and he pleaded guilty to a sixth, Katie Strang of The Athletic reported on Monday.

I hope that Galchenyuk’s time in the Player Assistance Program helps him.

Jonathan Bernier has hung up the skates, after missing all of last season with an injury.
